NVIDIA Announces GeForce4 4200 Go Mobile - Joe Glass
NVIDIA has announced a new addition to their mobile GPU lineup, the GeForce4 4200 Go GPU. This GPU is based on NVIDIA's desktop GeForce4 4200. Performance increases aside, this new mobile GPU adds pixel shaders, Accuview anti-aliasing, and advanced power management features.

SANTA CLARA, CA—NOVEMBER 14, 2002—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today introduced the Company’s newest mobile graphics processing unit (GPU), the NVIDIA® GeForce™4 4200 Go GPU. NVIDIA Announces NVDVD 2.0! - Joe Glass
NVIDIA has released a new version of NVDVD 2.0 This new version has many new improvements and is available today from NVIDIA's website. No longer is NVDVD an OEM product, you can demo the product for 14 days and purchase NVDVD for $39.95.

NVIDIA Sceneshare Technology
NVIDIA Sceneshare technology extends the DVD experience by allowing users to bookmark their favorite movie scenes and easily share them with other NVDVD users. Users can send sceneshares to their friends via e-mail or post them for download.

ATI releases Beta RC0 DX9 drivers - Benjamin Sun
Now that Microsoft has released Release Candidate 0 for DirectX 9.0 , ATI is the first company to release a driver that supports it. The Catalyst betas released today support 9700, 9700 Pro, 9500 9500 Pro with features of DX9. They also released the Bear, Natural Light demos .

Quadro 980XL - Benjamin Sun
Nvidia has announced today the release of the Quadro4 980XL workstation card. Based upon the NV28 Geforce4 AGP8x cards with some optimizations, Nvidia says the Quadro4 AGP8x provides up to 30% increase in performance over the previous generaion Quadro4 900XL. Of course most people are waiting for a "NV30 Quadro" , but that isn't announced yet.

New nForce Drivers for Linux - Joe Glass
NVIDIA has updated their Linux nForce drivers to version 1-0-0246. They provide RPMs and Source RPMs for Red Hat 8 (and the newer .17 kernel), 7.3, Suse 8.1, and Mandrake 9. Tarballs are also available!
